About A V Party Rentals

We are a family owned and operated business that has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley, and Southern California, for over 40 years. Much of our team has over 20 years in the event industry, and we have worked with thousands of clients to bring their event visions to reality.

A V Party Rentals started as All Valley Rental Center, in Newhall, back in 1968, and was purchased by Pat and Roger Parr in 1973. In 1978, A V Party Rentals and A V Equipment Rentals became separate companies in order to expand in their own fields. The Parr family continued to grow A V Party Rentals in the event industry. Expanding the sphere of clients to the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys, as well as all of Los Angeles, while growing with the Santa Clarita Valley in its early years, A V Party Rentals was able to become one of the most complete event rental stores in the area, an accomplishment that continues today.

The Parr family continues to operate A V Party Rentals, and still calls Santa Clarita “Home.” Rusty Parr, Cathy Holm and Ryan Parr, brothers and sister, currently run the business, and are very involved in community happenings. The A V Party Rentals team now includes the third generation of the Parr family, with Stephanie and Michael Parr, and Stephen Holm joining the ranks over the years.

A V Party Rentals continues to grow and expand. In 1986 they moved from their original building at 14th and San Fernando Road (now Railroad Avenue) to Downtown Newhall, occupying a store on what is now known as Main Street.

We moved to our current location, 23800 Newhall Avenue, in January, 2001. Although it seemed impossible to fill the entire building back then, it happened within a matter of a few years. Keeping on top of the event industry dictated expanding not only inventory quantities, but with new and innovative equipment and services for events.

A V Party Rentals continues to be the benchmark in Santa Clarita, always striving to remain Santa Clarita’s Favorite Party and Event Rental Company. The customer base is larger than ever, as we work with clients from all over Central and Southern California. We continue to expand our inventory, services and our workforce.

A V Party Rentals is Santa Clarita’s favorite party rental store, looking to add drivers to our growing team.
A V Party Rentals in Santa Clarita, CA is looking for one driver to join our dynamic 30 person team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working. We are one of Santa Clarita’s largest party rental companies, currently looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team of professional drivers, crew leaders and tent installers.
All positions present an opportunity for growth and development and the ability to turn your job into your career.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
• Loading/Unloading truck and or trailers
• Operating pickup truck and trailer combinations
• Operating 18′-26′ box trucks
• Following routes to deliver party rentals
• Interacting with customers
• Completing daily paperwork
• Completing daily vehicle reports
• Setting-up tables, chairs, dance floor, staging, lighting, etc. (not on every delivery)

Minimum Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current CA Class C License
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Clean DMV record
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs
• Highly professional demeanor
• Must speak fluent English
• Must be available Monday-Saturday
• Ability to work overtime
• Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Truck driving: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time opportunities available

Salary: $20.00-$22.00/hour depending on experience and ability
